Converse JP Pro Mid Shoes
Arriving in a minimalistic colourway for spring, this edition of the Converse JP Pro Mid Shoes has smooth off-white suede uppers edged with a crisp white leather border and signature detailing in black for a bold effect. Typical of any Jack Purcell pro model the durable rubber-infused ‘smile’ toe cap design stands up against repetitive impacts and brings distinctive character to the silhouette whilst above the suede tongue curves around the top of the foot and has a printed Converse CONS logo close to the top edge. The white cotton laces provide a secure fit during all day skate sessions and flow through silver metal eyelets which have also been used for two ventilation holes on the inner side panel. Curved top stitching flows across the uppers and around the back of the heel where the same Converse CONS logo design can be seen within an embossed heel stamp. Within the shoe a molded PU sockliner provides cushioning and underfoot the CONS traction rubber outsole has a durable finish with a herringbone tread pattern that provides reliable grip when worn across a variety of terrains.
Influenced by classic badminton footwear and the legacy of the Canadian champion Jack Purcell, the Converse JP Pro Mid Shoes feature an array of skate-focused details that bring the traditional model into modern day and ensure it suits the demands of pro riders whilst retaining its timeless appeal. Originally created in 1935 by the B.F. Goodrich Company of Canada, Converse took the style into their hands during the 1970s and it’s remained a staple ever since.
